The Foundation of Goodness has met many remarkable individuals over the years, whose generosity and selflessness deserves much merit, and has empowered hundreds of rural Sri Lankans. However, very few match up to the Heart of Gold seen in Dr. Kushwin Rajamani, whose entry into the FoG family has benefited thousands of rural communities all over Sri Lanka.

He is the kind sponsor of two Village Heartbeat Empowerment Centres, one in the South of Sri Lanka and one in the North, empowering an average of 900 beneficiaries annually! The Village Heartbeat Empowerment Centres located in Oddusuddan and Rathgama offer various courses such as English and IT, free of charge to rural Sri Lankans.

In addition to this, unveiling our new VHE Centre in Puthiyanagar Mullaitivu would not have been possible without the support from Dr. Kushwin Rajamani to renovate the building and furnish it with all the necessary equipment!

Moreover, Dr Kushwin Rajamani has also sponsored the operation of the Dental and Psychosocial Units at our Flagship Centre in Seenigama, benefitting more than 900 rural Sri Lankans in the locality.

Amidst all of these projects, Dr Kushwin Rajamani did not hesitate from participating in our special projects, such as the distribution of Essential Grocery Packs during the COVID-19 lockdown, where he provided more than 1500 packs helping 4000 rural Sri Lankans in need, all across the island. He has built a reverse osmosis water purification plant, aiding more than 6800 villagers in Murunkan, Mannar District to have access to clean drinking water and even supported 20 war widows to set up peanut cultivation in the rural East of Sri Lanka, thereby ensuring a means of income for them and their families.

Dr Kushwin Rajamani is a blessing to thousands of people in Sri Lanka, irrespective of race, religion or their geographic location.
