The Foundation of Goodness is proud to now accept Australian donations through our partners at Doing Good Foundation who will provide tax-deductible receipts. The Doing Good Foundation a registered Australian charity with the required statuses to remit funds to charities not registered in Australia and to issue tax deductible receipts for donations over AUD$2. Please choose how to donate from the following three options:

To donate online using a bank card:

  1. Visit the online platform https://foundationofgoodness.raisely.com/ to donate online
  2. Receive an automated email confirmation and tax receipt

*Note, the online platform Raisely uses the third party payment gateway Stripe, which charges 1.4%+30c processing fee on Australian cards (1.75%+30c for AMEX and 2.9%+30c on international cards). For example, should you wish for FOG to receive a $100 donation, you will need to donate slightly more than $100, adjusted as per your payment method to cover these Stripe fees.

*Note, throughout the Raisely process a checkbox appears which does not cover this Stripe processing fee – the checkbox is asking you to cover Raisely’s website fees “Add $xx to help cover our fundraising costs” – note that this is not FOG or DGF’s fundraising costs. The Stripe processing fee can only be covered if you increase the donation amount.

To donate via EFT (direct bank transfer):

  2. Complete bank transfer with description ‘FOG [your name]’
  3. Receive a confirmation email with tax receipt within 7 days

*Note, that a direct bank transfer has less processing fees than using the online platform Raisely, however, please allow up to 7 days for manual processing to receive confirmation.

To donate via cheque:

  1. Make payable to ‘Doing Good Rewards Foundation Ltd’
  2. Post to below address and include a note with your name and email (tax receipt purposes)
  3. Receive an email confirmation with your tax receipt within 7 days

 

Note: DGF does not charge an administration fee for collecting and transferring funds to FOG. Net funds are sent to FOG (less international transfer fee and any currency conversion losses). For example, should you wish for FOG to receive the full $100 of your $100 donation, you will need to donate slightly more to cover the transfer fees.

If your donation is to be allocated to a specific project, general project or for the “Goodness Endowment Trust”, please advise DGF at the below email at the time of donation. Doing Good Foundation is accountable to donors for remitting the funds to their selected charity and FOG is accountable to Australian donors for using those funds for legitimate beneficiaries.
