As Sri Lanka once again comes under quarantine health regulations, many daily wage earners are struggling to put food on the table. Daily wage earners make up for a significant portion of Sri Lanka’s working population, thereby meaning that so many families will not have enough to eat.
Therefore, the Foundation of Goodness is once again appealing for donations towards our Essential Grocery Pack Campaign, to ensure that these families do not go hungry during these turbulent times.
Last year, the Foundation of Goodness facilitated the provision of more than 1500 grocery packs to rural communities across Sri Lanka. With your support, we aim to identify 250 families who will benefit greatly from this pack of essential groceries.
