The Foundation of Goodness is delighted to announce the support of Traveller and Digital Creator Davud Akhundzada for our Feed the Hungry (Phase 5) crisis relief project currently ongoing in Sri Lanka!
Seeing the plight of thousands of rural Sri Lankans, Davud Akhundzada has put together a GoFundMe Page that will aim to raise USD 10,000 in 1 month for the Feed the Hungry Project! This will benefit over 4000 struggling rural Sri Lankans to access more meals and essential food items.
In his one month in Sri Lanka Davud Akhundzada will be travelling all over the country, projecting its beauty in the honest, heartwarming and insightful way that has garnered him over 121,000 subscribers on YouTube and a large following on other social media platforms.
We thank him for his proactiveness in reaching out to us, meeting Founder Kushil Gunasekera and putting this generous act of compassion into action in just a matter of days!
The Feed the Hungry project has supplied essential grocery packs to over 23,000 deserving beneficiaries from 495+ villages in all 25 districts in Sri Lanka! We hope to continue to help those in need, with the economic crisis making many families go without meals here in Sri Lanka.
