The focus of the sports programmes delivered by the Foundation of Goodness concentrate on the mental, physical and social health of sports participants, and the development of life skills. The Foundation of Goodness Sports Academy was established on the 1st July 2007 to serve this purpose.

The Foundation of Goodness is passionate about cricket and thanks to support from the Marylebone Cricket Club, it has been able to provide a beautiful cricket ground at Sri Sumangala College, Hikkaduwa. Surrey County Cricket Club are partners in the development of the Seenigama Wimala Buddhi MV cricket venue.
This passion for cricket runs through the Foundation of Goodness' work supported by top class Sri Lankan Cricket stars Muthiah Muralidaran (Murali), Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardena and Russel Arnold.
Canadian pop-star Bryan Adams continues to show his generosity and compassion through his ongoing support for the maintenance and programmes provided at the Bryan Adams Swimming Pool Complex at Seenigama Sports Academy.
