Graduations - January 2015

The month of January was full of graduations and we were delighted to see so many people acquire their new qualifications which would undoubtedly improve their future opportunities.

On the 17th of January, the computer and electrical course students graduated at the Aviva Community Hall in the presence of chief guest Mr. Chinta Rajap from Children Action and guest of honour Dr. Holly Collison from Loughborough University. What made this graduation even more special than the regular one was the speech by Lakshan Priyanga who was also graduating as part of the current batch and recently won third place at the Sri Lanka Inventors Commission National Award which was an inspiration to all present at the event.

As we continue to provide educational and vocational opportunities to those in Seenigama and the surrounding regions to help them develop their careers and livelihoods, we would like to take this opportunity to sincerelty thank Tesco UK for their generous sponsorship of the FoG empowerment sectors thart makes all this possible.
