On the 12th and 13th of July 2024, the Foundation of Goodness proudly celebrated the graduation ceremonies of our Women’s Empowerment Centre and IT and Business Skills & Language Training Centre at the OYOB Centre of Excellence in Seenigama. These events marked the culmination of six months of dedicated learning and hard work by our students, showcasing their incredible achievements and the transformative impact of our programmes.

Women’s Empowerment Centre Graduation (12th July 2024)

The Women’s Empowerment Centre’s graduation was a vibrant celebration of talent and determination. Our chief guest, Miss Chathini Uduwana, Ambassador for Women in Tech, and guest of honour, Ms. Rangi Laskhika, a success story and beneficiary of our courses, graced the event with their inspiring presence.

Our students dedicated themselves to mastering these skills throughout the course, and their hard work was fully displayed during the graduation ceremony. Guests were treated to an exhibition of baking items, dresses, bags, soft toys, and brides dressed up by the beauty culture graduates, showcasing the impressive range of talents developed at the centre. The centre offers a variety of courses aimed at empowering women with valuable skills that they can use in their current lifestyle.

IT & Business Skills and Language Training Centre Graduation (13th July 2024)

The following day, the IT & Business Skills & Language Training Centre held its graduation ceremony, celebrating the achievements of students in a variety of technical and business disciplines. We were honoured to have Mrs. Shashikala Wanigasinghe, a dedicated volunteer at the Foundation of Goodness, as our chief guest, and Mrs. Ludmila Ushani, another success story from our courses, as the guest of honour. Our training centre offers a comprehensive suite of courses designed to equip students with essential skills for the modern workforce.

Their hard work behind the scenes ensured that the graduation ceremonies were memorable and meaningful for all.

Our graduates have worked tirelessly over the past six months, demonstrating remarkable perseverance and dedication. Their achievements are a testament to their hard work and the comprehensive training provided by the Foundation of Goodness. As they step into the next chapter of their lives, equipped with new skills and knowledge, we are confident they will continue to achieve great things and make significant contributions to their communities.

We are deeply grateful to our esteemed guests who honoured us with their presence and inspiring words. Their support and recognition mean a great deal to our students and the entire Foundation of Goodness community.
