The Sri Lankan public health care system has been crippled due to the economic crisis. Patients’ lives are in critical danger due to the lack of essential and urgent medicine for crucial operations and procedures. The Foundation of Goodness has obtained the necessary information from selected public hospitals and with the help of kind donors, aims to service their most pressing medical needs.
Children Action, a long time supporter of the Foundation of Goodness extended their support with a magnanimous donation of USD 24,744 (Rs. 8,622,511) towards children in need at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children in Colombo and the Apeksha Cancer hospital in Maharagama.
Their kind support ensure the delivery of several items of need and both hospitals were extremely grateful for these medicine and medical equipment.
