The Foundation of Goodness is delighted to launch our annual essential school supplies project for the year 2023!

For the 23rd consecutive year, we aim to provide essential school items such as school shoes and uniform material to thousands of rural Sri Lankan students, with the aim of enabling more children and youth to stay in school.

This year, due to the prevailing economic crisis, rural families in Sri Lanka are struggling to simply access meals, posing a higher risk of children dropping out of school as parents are unable to afford essential school items. These items have increased in price exponentially as seen below:

The Foundation of Goodness over the past 23 years has provided 55,526 rural Sri Lankan students from poverty-stricken communities across the island with essential school supplies to attend school. Last year, 8133 school packs were delivered to students from 221 rural villages.
