A holistic rural development model that seeks to bridge the gap between the urban and rural communities in Sri Lanka via 10 empowerment divisions across 900+ villages island-wide reaching over 68,000+ beneficiaries annually, free of cost.

Feed the Hungry

Sri Lanka is battling a severe economic crisis, its worst since independence. The soaring inflation has pushed thousands of families into poverty and cause several more families to compromise on their meals. Knowing the pain of hunger, the Foundation of Goodness began distributing essential grocery packs island-wide.

Phase 5

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, 10,526 essential grocery packs of rice, dhal (lentils) and flour were distributed, enabling 41359 rural Sri Lankans from 219 villages to access more meals.

Phase 4

Thanks to your support we have ensured that over 22,000 people had enough to eat during Phase 4 of the Feed the Hungry project, with distributions taking place across 400 rural villages.

Goodness Boxes

The Goodness Boxes collect donations from Monday to Thursday at the Colombo Head Office and distributes it to those in need every Friday.

This project aims to reach out to the urban poor, who are often marginalized and do not receive enough support.
