We are excited to announce the commencement of the Lifesaving course for our dive students at Dive For Good, marking a crucial step in their training journey. This course is an integral part of our free 6-month diving programme, designed to equip aspiring divers with essential skills during the off-season. Our dive centre, known for offering high-quality diving and snorkelling experiences during the peak season, transforms into a training hub during quieter months, nurturing the next generation of diving professionals.
The course is structured over four days, combining theory and practical sessions. It begins with theory, followed by practical training at the Sports Academy and additional theory at the OYOB Centre of Excellence in Seenigama. The training culminates with a written and practical exam at our dive centre.
We are proud to have 15 students enrolled in this programme, covering certifications in First Aid, CPR, ILS Junior Lifesaver, and Water Safety. This initiative underscores our commitment to making lifesaving skills accessible and affordable for our community.
As we embark on this journey, we look forward to seeing our students grow into confident, capable divers and lifesavers, ready to make a positive impact both in and out of the water.
