One such story is that of Uminda, a humble member of the maintenance staff at the OYOB Centre of Excellence in Seenigama. Despite his unassuming role, Uminda’s story is nothing short of remarkable. This young father of two, behind his everyday tasks, Uminda conceals an extraordinary secret: he created an Instagram handle @lovedoginstagood that now has an astounding 600,000 followers and counting. Through self-driven learning and tireless research through youtube and other online resources, he cracked the code of social media engagement and digital creation all on his own. But Uminda’s journey doesn’t stop there. His aspirations stretch further, aiming to touch the coveted milestone of one million followers. He is constantly researching, analyzing metrics and data to reach his goal. 

Uminda has now become a popular figure at the Foundation of Goodness as he is a unique soul with a distinct perspective on life. He embraces a different approach, firmly believing in doing things in a different way. Whatever task he undertakes, he does so with unwavering passion. Even the seemingly ordinary act of cleaning classrooms holds deeper meaning for him. Uminda views it as his personal responsibility to ensure the health and safety of the students.
